In-person Lessons Safety Plan
All lesson rooms are sanitized after every lesson and all teachers are wearing masks. Our waiting room will be open now (parents and siblings can chose to enter the builiding or wait in the car or outside). Parents are also welcome to Zoom into the lessons if they want to observe. Hand-sanitizing stations are provided for students in every lesson room and at the front desk. Trophies and bracelets are available for a pick up at the front desk! Office staff is available 7 days a week - just call or text 630-474-3090 for any questions or scheduling needs! We have very specious rooms so we can provide more safety for students and teachers! To practice social distancing we provided an extra keyboard for a teacher in every piano room. Voice lessons are taking place in our biggest room, plus we provide plastic shields for extra protection.

Tips for Zoom!
We are thrilled that Zoom lessons are working so well! In fact, they are a great solution for busy summers while traveling and will be great for sno days in the future too! We have learned that lessons are much better on an iPad or laptop (versus a phone) so be sure to allow the student to use the biggest screen possible while on Zoom. Please remind the whole family when lessons are underway! Any family noise can disrupt the lesson so it’s best to encourage family members to go outside or to another part of the house while lessons are in session! This helps prevent distractions and makes the lessons more successful! Some students use external webcams and nice microphones for their lessons. This makes the experience better so, if you are planning on staying on Zoom, consider upgrading your equipment!
