We operate as a certified music school committed to ensuring the safety of our students, staff, and instructors. Our adherence to the Family Safety Plan encompasses several measures. These include installing glass windows in lesson rooms to promote transparency between teachers and parents, maintaining full-time office staff to ensure constant supervision of students and teachers, conducting thorough background checks for all staff members, installing security cameras throughout our facilities, and encouraging parents to participate in their child's lessons through an open-door policy. |

Instruments We Teach
We strongly believe that the best way to learn any instrument is in a private one-on-one setting. That way, the whole process can be adjusted to age, experience, learning style, and personality of each student.
Are We the Right Music School for you?
13 Benefits of Becoming an Academy Student |
1. Violin lessons, Piano lessons, Guitar lessons, Bass lessons, Ukulele lessons, Voice lessons, Drum lessons in ONE location! If you have more than one child interested in playing a musical instrument, it might be a convenient option as one family can take multiple instruments on the same day. 2. Month to Month lessons We do not require semester minimums for lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis. |
3. Qualified teachers dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them
We know how hard it is to find a well educated, experienced teacher that you can rely on. That is why we have carefully selected our instructors. One less worry for you! Our music teachers have teaching experience, college degrees or professional performance experience. They are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn in your music lesson. |
4. Convenient Location
Due to its central location, our school is convenient to all surrounding areas, serving towns such as Downers Grove, Darien, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Willowbrook, Woodridge, Western Springs, Oak Brook, Burr Ridge, Bolingbrook, Lemont among the others. 5. Music lessons for children and adults We recommend that your child is at least 5 years old to start private music lessons. It is never too late to learn a musical instrument, so we welcome adults no matter what your age/ level is. |
6. Free Summer and Winter Recitals with a grand Steinway piano in a professional recital hall Every parent just wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to find out if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital. In June and January many of our students choose to perform in our biannual recitals. You are encouraged to bring your family and friends to the show for free to share the fun! |
7. Trophies, certificates and award wristbands to celebrate achievement.
We are the only music school in the area that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies and certificates for passing musical tests. Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool “Musical Ladder” wristbands that they can show off to their friends. More importantly, when our students have a test coming up, they practice more, their parents are proud, their teachers are proud, and everybody wins. You can only get the Musical Ladder here. We don't think learning music should be boring--it should be fun! |
8. A proven track record of excellence
Visit our testimonials page to see what our students are saying. Every year, aspiring music teachers start their own studio, and a year or two later it’s closed. The Academy has a proven track record of offering quality violin, piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, voice, drum lessons in Westmont, Illinois year round. Our full time mission is teaching music lessons trusted by many families for over 15 years. |
9. Open door policy
You can watch your child's lesson through the glass door while you wait. Or if you prefer, you can sit in on their lesson anytime you'd like. 10. A Spacious and comfortable waiting room for parents
Instead of waiting in a music retail store showroom, a narrow hallway, or in the parking lot, our clients can enjoy a spacious, parent's lounge with comfortable chairs. |
11. Picture Day We are the only music school in area that offers a picture day for their students. We host a free picture day with a professional photographer. This is a service that our student's parents love as they all want quality photos of their children (examples pictured on this page). Adults are welcome too! Students can bring their instruments to the photo shoot and wear whatever they like. |
