WMA's Winter 2026 Recitals! 🎶
We’re thrilled to share that our next Winter Recitals will be held on:
📅 Sunday, January 18th, 2026 | 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
📅 Sunday, January 25th, 2026 | 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
📍 Hinsdale Covenant Church | 412 S Garfield St, Hinsdale IL 60521
Please note - times may adjust depending on the number of participants.
Recitals are a wonderful performance opportunity for all WMA students to showcase their hard work and musical growth. While participation is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged. Final approval for participation will come from each student’s teacher.
Just like our previous recitals, we’ll be scheduling 20 students per hour. This format keeps things comfortable, ensures each student has time to shine, and allows families to attend only during their assigned hour. Once your student has finished performing, you may exit the hall to make space for the next group of performers and guests.
✨ Participation Requirements:
• Students must be enrolled by the end of October 2025
• Students must remain active in lessons through January 2026
• Students who withdraw in January will not be eligible to perform

🎸 WMA Rock Band Shines on Stage! 🎤
We couldn’t be prouder of our WMA Rock Band after their most recent performance! Our talented students - Alaina, Colin, James, Maya, Mikenzie, and Nicholas - took the stage with confidence, energy, and teamwork, showing off all the hard work they’ve been putting in during rehearsals. From tight rhythms to bold solos, every member brought their best and truly rocked the house, all under the guidance of WMA teachers, Mr. Baron & Mr. Kevin.

BRING A FRIEND WEEK IS BACK!
After a great first round, we're excited to announce our second Bring a Friend Week—a fun new tradition at WMA!
📅 October 19th – October 25th
Students can invite a friend to join them for their regular lesson--completely free!
It’s a great way for students to:

✨ Inspire a friend to become a future musician! All instruments & voice

A New Type of Music Class for Children & Toddlers
This private early childhood music lesson program for ages 3-6 gives students a head start in music in a FUN way! Unlike other music lessons for students this age, this program by Animal Adventures in Music teaches a robust, comprehensive curriculum, covering topics from rhythm to note reading to instrument introduction and exposure, all through games, activities, and fun weekly homework!
Lessons in an individual, one-to-one format (one teacher, one student) give students the ability to move at their own pace and explore their own interests. The private one-to-one feel of the program ensures that no child is going to be rushed to grasp a concept and they can take their time exploring the world of music and have a blast while doing it!
We chose this curriculum because not only does it teach kids the basics of music theory, it also tells engaging stories.
We are accepting new AAM students anytime!
